Promoting Equitable Birth Outcomes

Did you know that infant mortaility among Black newborns is more than double that of white babies? That Black mothers are more than three times as likely to die during childbirth?

On Tuesday, February 7 (2pm EST), The Hunt Institute’s Early Efforts web series will return with a session on Promoting Equitable Birth Outcomes. We’ll be joined, as always, by a fantastic expert panel including:

·       Megan Simmons of the National Birth Equity Collaborative

·       Stephanie Spencer of Urban Baby Beginnings and

·       Peggy Vander Meulen of Strong Beginnings-Healthy Start.
