Technology to Improve Maternal Health

As we continue our efforts to improve health by leading the development and accelerating the application of biomedical technologies, I would like to invite you to our upcoming “Technology to Improve Maternal Health” workshop on January 18, 2022.

This workshop will include panel discussions on the topics of technology, clinical outcomes, and community; moderated networking sessions; and a plenary session hosted by Elizabeth Howell, M.D., M.P.P., Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania Health System.

This workshop is part of the National Institutes of Health’s Implementing a Maternal health and PRegnancy Outcomes Vision for Everyone (IMPROVE) initiative and will bring together researchers, technology developers, small businesses, and community partners to identify technology gaps and consider how new technologies can be used to improve maternal health. More information on this workshop can be found on the event page. To register for this event, please click here.

Since this topic is closely aligned with the mission of Maryland Perinatal Quality Collaboratives, we would appreciate it if you could share this event with your communities or networks (social networks, newsletters, office staff, etc.). Promotional materials for the event can be found here.
