Pediatric Vaccine Success Stories from the Field

The National Community Action Partnership, National Head Start Association, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and ACF’s Office of Early Childhood Development are excited to present this webinar targeted towards the entire early care and education community, as we prepare for approval of the COVID-19 vaccine for children 6 months to five years old. Hear tips for building vaccine confidence in parents, caregivers and your community and learn from sites that have been successful in promoting or partnering to provide pediatric vaccinations. Ask your burning questions! Presenters will be available to respond to questions following the presentations. Presenters include:

  • Katie Hamm, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Early Childhood Development, Administration for Children and Families

  • Richard Quartarone, CDC Vaccine Confidence and Demand Team

  • Dr. Julio O’Ryan, Community Action Corporation of South Texas

  • Nadia Higgins, Parents in Community Action (PICA) Head Start, Hennepin County, Minnesota
