The 2022 RISER Network (Researchers Investigating Sociocultural Equity and Race) Conference, "Conducting Policy-Relevant Research to Promote Black Children's Optimal Development," is set for 12:30-2:30 p.m. ET, Wednesday and Thursday September 28th and 29th. This unique virtual conference will feature Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, and Dr. Leah Austin, president and CEO of the National Black Child Development Institute as the dual keynote speakers. Attendees here will glean rare insight into the state of knowledge on Black children’s and families’ strengths and cultural assets, as well as the tools needed to provide policy information that is actionable and strengths-based with a focus on wellness promotion.
