Parents – We Need Your Experience and Insight

Help us gain insight into the experiences of parents and other caregivers with child care in Maryland including your experience with Maryland’s Child Care Scholarship program. Whether you have used Child Care Scholarship, were denied Child Care Scholarship, or stopped using Child Care Scholarship, your experience matters…and we want to hear from you. 

We have two opportunities for parents to share their voice with the goal of strengthening child care in Maryland and making Child Care Scholarship easier to access. 

First, please take about 4 minutes to share your perspective on child care: take the survey in English or tome la enquesta en español. Every participant will be entered into a drawing to win one of five $100 Visa gift cards. 

Next, we invite you to participate in a virtual parent workshop, titled Making Child Care Affordable for Working Families in Maryland. This is for parents to learn more about the resources that are available to help you afford child care. We also want to learn from you at these workshops. Your input will lead the design, thinking, and problem-solving necessary for all Maryland families to have access to high quality affordable child care.

Sign up now for one of the following workshops. Each session has a limit of 12 spaces to ensure every participant has a chance to share their unique voice. Every participating parent will receive a $50 Visa gift card. Workshops will be held:

• Tuesday, Nov 8: 10:00-11:30am

• Tuesday, Nov 8: 6:30-8:00pm

• Thursday, Nov 10: 6:30-8:00pm

• Tuesday, Nov 15: 10:00 – 11:30am
